Chenae Bullock

 Chenae Bullock, LPIM, an enrolled Shinnecock Nation citizen and descendant of the Montauk Tribe in Long Island New York. She is also African American. Appearances SXSW,  Forbes, Rolling Stones, TEDx, Tribal Business News, Bloomberg, Conde Nast Traveler Indian Country Today, Yahoo Finance. Chenae is the founder & CEO of Moskehtu Consulting, a cultural and heritage preservation firm. Following her ancestors’ footsteps as whalers and leaders of the northeastern seaboard, the foundation of her work has been to resurgence of the traditional canoe culture and the cultural societal ways of the Long Island Indigenous communities. She has organized historically sacred paddles in the ancient waterways of the northeastern seaboard. She has organized, navigated, and paddled from Shinnecock to Mashantucket Pequot and from Boston to New York City paddling across the Long Island Sound twice. As a licensed Indigenopathic practitioner, she focuses on promoting Indigenous healthcare participation and educating on ancient Indigenous wellness practices. She effectively bridges cultural understanding, facilitating the incorporation of traditional wisdom and practices into the sustainability framework in her partnerships. She has published numerous articles on environmental sustainability and cultural intelligence of Indigenous people. Chenae’s mission is to illuminate the view and understanding of Indigenous people through cultural competency in government and environmental spaces, brand partnerships and pure connectivity to what she values most, humanity.
