Inunduated With Calls

Inundated With Calls

Title: "Inundated With Calls"

By: Shannyn Weeks

Dimensions: 20" x 16" in.

Year: 2025

The pictured street and telephone poles are overwhelmed with unpredictable flooding caused

by climate change. With the word “inundate” meaning both “to overwhelm” and “to flood,” the

metaphorical and literal definitions collide in this photo. The planet has and will continue to inundate us

with calls to action to better reconnect and respect Earth, leaving us with natural disasters on our

answering machines.
